{Pretty}

Snow! We got snow! The first of the season, here in April, and just a dusting, really, but I’ll take it. I am grateful for the storm and for the flakes and for the quiet beauty of snow falling.

{Happy} and {Funny}

For this little girl’s first Easter, Jonathan’s parents prepared an egg hunt for her! Since she isn’t walking or crawling yet, I carried her to each egg, pointed it out to her, and let her reach out to grab it. After tasting it (a necessary part of any egg hunt, I’m sure), she’d carefully place it in her basket. She let go of each one quite easily, but then, her favorite pastime for the past week has been to collect all of the toys within her reach and put them in her bucket. So perhaps organizing is her thing.

{Real}

This is what a baby’s plastic spoon looks like if it falls out of the dishwasher rack and onto the heating element. Do not try this at home; the entire house smelled like burnt plastic for several hours.
